One of the first things on my to-do list once I got out to Cali, was to find froyo. I found this quaint little place called “Golden Spoon”, and yes they have golden-plastic spoons. They remind me a lot of TCBY, more of a sweet yogurt. But I must admit, I found them last Wednesday, and I have gone there now 4 times. Next froyo to stalk: Pinkberry.
A little fun story: I stepped out of my parked car at Golden Spoon today and immediately heard, “You go to UGA?!” First time I have worn one of many UGA shirts in public, and I happened to be wearing the beauty listed in the picture. A girl was sitting outside Golden Spoon, and said she had graduated from UGA last December and was living in Cali for a short time with her boyfriend. Today’s been a rather “blah” day, so the little chat with a friendly stranger brought that light right back. I love how we are all intertwined.
